New seller, Amz asking for verification to sell on Amazon.Ca But I only want to sell in the usa
I just started selling and I received a notice that I need to complete my Amazon.Ca verification. I do not want to sell in Canada. Do I still need to do this?

If your focus has been solely on the U.S. marketplace, and this request seems out of place. Rest assured, if you've only signed up to sell on Amazon.com and have no plans to expand into Canada, you can breathe easy. This notification is likely not relevant to your current selling strategy. In most cases, you can simply ignore it and continue focusing on building your presence in the U.S. market.
If you are only selling on Amazon.com and have no intention of selling on Amazon.ca, you do not need to complete the Amazon.ca verification process. You can safely ignore notifications about Amazon.ca verification if:
1. You only signed up to sell on Amazon.com
2. You haven't enrolled in North American Remote Fulfillment (which allows US sellers to reach Canadian customers)
If the notifications persist, you can:
1. Double-check your Seller Central settings to ensure you haven't accidentally enrolled in the Canadian marketplace
2. Contact Seller Support to confirm you're properly set up for US-only selling
Make sure you have completed all required verifications for your intended marketplace (Amazon.com).
