A buyer keeps ordering, canceling and returing
We are facing a persistent challenge with a buyer who has been consistently disrupting our operations through order cancellations and returns. Before Nov.29, 2022, the buyer made 123 purchases, with 79 cancellations and 36 returns. From Sep. 08, 2023, to Jan. 07, 2024, out of 56 orders, 27 were canceled, and 24 returns were made in an unsellable condition.
Despite reporting this concerning behavior many times, no resolution has been achieved. We are seeking advice and assistance from the forum community on how to address this matter effectively and urgently. Any insights or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your support.

Hello @Seller_VxIvplpEa8mgx,
Thank you for contacting Amazon Forums.
I comprehend your situation and I know how important is to take actions on this as soon as possible to prevent any impact to your account. I have seen that you contacted Selling Partner Support in the case ending in 78931 and they have contacted the respective team to review your case. Based on this, I have followed up with the team in charge to provide us an update and share what are the next steps, if any, from your end.
Thanks in advance for your patience on this matter. I will get back to you on January 15th with an update.
Regards, Jurgen_Amazon.

hope this gets resolved for you. Out of sheer curiosity is the buyer ordering the same product over and over or are they ordering all sorts of products from your webstore.

Sounds like a competitor trying to dry out your inventory. What's the reason(s) usually given for the returns??
You should at least charge a re-stocking fee each time, which Amazon allows. Also, take pics of the items you send, compare them to the ones received in unsellable condition, and refund accordingly - less than purchase price.
I suspect this buyer would not want Amazon to scrutinize that behaviour and would not file any A-Z's.
Good luck. Let us know what happens.

You got their address and name, so you can send them a cease and desist letter. This is what we do when we have a FBM problematic customer/seller.
You can report them in the Account health / Report Abuse -> A customer who is violating returns and refund policies
Also you can just cancel any order they place.

Wow, I would be so angry.
123 purchases? I do not have a solution just wanted to show compassion to a fellow seller.
Good luck

The same thing happens to me. Have you tried to call them?
I called them and guess what? It was Amazon that was buying these things and returning them.
I asked to speak to the buyer, I was told I do not have an introduction and I was hung up on.
This is more suspicious Amazon activity. Is it harassment? Is it account interference?
I have to pay to ship it to them and pay the return. Are you having the same accumulated costs?

It's ridiculous that this could go on for such a long time.
Would you mind sharing how much time you spent trying to solve this with seller support?

It looks like nothing has changed.
The buyer still keeps ordering, canceling, and returning. In the past two weeks alone, there have been 17 new orders, 6 cancellations, and 7 returns, several out of 17 orders on pending indicating a persistent and concerning pattern.
Amazon, please protect the sellers from bully!
