GS1 barcode not recognized by amazon.
It has now been over 13 days since I purchased a new GS1 UPC code for a product variation I am trying to add to my products. I have tried every day to list this variation with the same error code "The SKU does not match any ASIN and contains invalid value(s) for attributes required for creation of a new ASIN."
I have read through multiple forums stating this is definitely a problem with Amazon not recognizing the UPC code as it takes time for them to verify GS1. Yes the UPC is registered to my company name and exact brand name. Even on the GS1 verification website I am able to search and verify this.
Anyone have any suggestions? I have my shipments waiting on a barcode for almost a week now and I am not able to generate that until I can list the item.

I am having the exact same issue. My case was referred to an internal team, and I haven't heard anything since.

Just off the top of my head, Maybe create a duplicate product listing and then change the sku that you have on your current product listing.

I have been struggling with this issue for over a month. You have to escalate this to the internal leadership team, provide the GS1 certificates and a bunch of other information and they have to manually approve each new GTIN. It is a giant PIA and is very time-consuming.

We encountered the same issue with the GS1 codes purchased from their German website. We provided Amazon with the invoice and email communication, but to no avail. They never pinpointed the exact issue.
However, we managed to resolve it ourselves. In our case, the manufacturer name we used when creating the GS1 code was slightly different. It turned out that it must match the manufacturer name in the listing you are trying to create. Once we made this change, we were able to use all the newly purchased codes.
You should try matching all the information with the GS1 system and see if it helps.
