1-Star Rating on a newly listed product

Hello, we just listed our product 2 days ago and none of our customers have received their item yet but we just received a 1-star rating with no text review, no name, or any information. Seems like a competitor posted this 1-star rating but can someone help with removing this? It violates community guidelines as they did not actually purchase the item. It is also hurting our small business as we are just getting started.

UNFORTUNATELY.....not purchasing the product and leaving a rating does NOT violate community guidelines. If the rating is really from another seller or someone electronically related to this seller the AI will identify him and suspend his seller account. But that can take many, many months.

UNFORTUNATELY.... you can do absolutely nothing. Keep on selling. The more you sell the more reviews and ratings will arrive (ca 2-3% of the sales) and this 1-star will loose its importance.

To report abuse, click Show Review Details on the Customer Reviews page. This takes you to the review on the customer facing detail page, click the Report abuse button which will pop-up a confirmation box where you have to click Submit.

We will remove any review that violates our policies in which case it will also be removed from the Customer Reviews page.

If you have already reported this review and were unsuccessful in having it removed, please provide the case ID here and I am happy to review further. I cannot guarantee that review will be removed, however I can ensure that the proper review was done.

There are literally thousands of Chinese sellers doing this kind of trick.

Amazon is not interested in closing them, so you have to live with it.
