Carrier and warehouse damaged FBA items
I am reconciling our FBA returns and reimbursements and have a couple of questions/clarifications that I'm hoping someone can help with:
1. When an item is marked as Carrier Damaged and we receive a reimbursement, what happens to the item? Is it returned to our inventory as unfulfillable (whereby I have it returned to our warehouse)?
2. We sometimes get items marked as Warehouse Damaged in our unfulfillable stock. Are these Carrier Damaged items that have been returned to our inventory? Or are these separate items that are being damaged in the warehouse? Or could they be both?
Thanks in advance for your insight :)

Carrier and Warehouse damaged items become Amazon property once you've been reimbursed for them.

Greetings @Seller_abe65upAu7Uy4,
From Seller Central: "Amazon may dispose of any item for which we reimburse you under this policy, including by selling it. As a result, such items — including lost items that are found after reimbursement — may be listed for sale on Amazon warehouse or other channels."
Warehouse damaged would be specifically for items that are lost or damaged by an Amazon fulfillment center or a facility operated on behalf of Amazon.
I hope this helps answer both of your questions! Let me know if you have additional thoughts.
