All of these Amazon Seller charges are appearing on my credit card but I haven't even started

All of these Amazon Seller charges are appearing on my credit card but I haven't even started. They just say AMAZON MX for $1.04 and possible a reverse, then a charge for AMZ*Amazon Payments for $39.99 and then another charge for AMAZON MKTPLACE PAYMANTS for $49.96. No explanation - no phone call to ask about it - NOTHING!

When you sign up, Amazon usually defaults you to a Professional Account, which is $39.99 US a month. This plan covers USA, Canada, Mexico and possibly Brazil, even if you are not using them.

Go into you Account Settings and downgrade to an Individual Account to stop the charges. Then go into Help and open a case with Seller "Support" and ask for a refund, which may or may not happen. The MX charge was to verify your credit card was good there.

If you are just getting started, I suggest you look at Amazon's Seller University videos, and read in this forum for ages. Amazon is not easy and there are many pitfalls for you to lose money and/or product. Good luck to you.
