Issues Over CSA C22.2/UL 62368-1 Requirement for Extension Cords Surge Protectors
We sell 3rd party non-OEM power cords and we are having issues with compliance of Power Strips with Surge Protection. We have over 4.8k listings that are inactive. Our products can't be used as an extension cords. When we appeal some appeals are approved saying that we do not need certification for our products but most are getting rejected saying that it still has characteristics of an extension cord. Yes they share similar characteristics but its not same. Plus we have uploaded UL CSA C22.2 and 62368 documents and are still getting rejected. We have over 4.8k listings that are inactive due to this issue and losing hundreds of dollars every day. Please help.
