Guidance on reporting a counterfeit product
Hi All - I sell products for brand that is not registered on Amazon. I recently noticed a Chinese seller on the listing, shipping the product from overseas. I ordered and confirmed it was a counterfeit ( a terrible one at that). After i ordered, the seller removed themselves from the listing. Do we have any recourse?

Since Amazon is in a full fledged 'relationship' with offshore sellers probably nothing can be done here!
If you have sufficient documentation such as screen grabs of ALL their information -- including the offer, their store contact info, and the product received info you can report them to IC3.
The Government site IC3 (Amazon will remove the link if I put it here but it’s part of the FBI for an easy search) is where you can report the use of the internet for theft. It is generally used to report on websites but it can be used to report buyers as well if you happen to encounter one of the Amazon scam crowd.
In all cases it at least puts the con artists into a data base for future reference by the authorities.
There's an OLD saying -- If you aren't part of the solution you are part of the problem.
PLEASE REPORT, REPORT, REPORT, REPORT.
