Account Deactivated due to inactivity? Here's what you need to know

Selling Accounts with an extended period of inactivity may be deactivated. If you are facing a similar issue, you may be requested to update your payment details and/or re-verify your identity documents.

To recover access to your account and have a better understanding of the information that needs verification, login to Seller Central, and Go to Settings and click Account Info.

If you are required to update your payment details, follow the steps below even if the payment information has not changed, doing the steps below with trigger the verification:

  1. Go to Settings, and click Account Info.
  2. From Payment Information, select Charge Methods.
  3. Click Replace Charge Method, and enter the requested information exactly as it appears on your credit card statement.

How to update my credit or debit card information?

If you are required to verify your identify documents:

  1. Go to Settings, and click Account Info.
  2. You will find a banner with the documents needed to re-verify your identify
  3. Follow the link "Reactivate Account" to upload the documents

Make sure to visit the document requirements outlined in our help page : Global seller identity verification

Once the information has been uploaded correctly, you will see a confirmation message. The information will be validated against our requirements. We will also keep you informed via an email to the email address that you provided during registration in case we require additional information or additional actions are need from you.
