Amazon LOST my inventory and is refusing to reimburse

yesterday I noticed one of my listings was completely deleted from my inventory. I opened a case to see what was going on and today they said that they lost the inventory, and that my items are not eligible for reimbursement due to it being a restricted item. To be clear, my items are not in the restricted/prohibited category at all. I sell labels that are manufactured by myself.
I keep getting the roundabout templated responses with no one actually looking into it, they just keep telling me that my items are prohibited without telling me exactly why. According to the reimbursement policy, I should be eligible for reimbursement.
Has anyone else gone through a similar situation and did they eventually reimburse you? It’s really disheartening to see small businesses product inventory just get completely lost with no resolution and no help from Amazon.
