how to contact the buyer for a carrier delayed item?

Hi. one of my shipments got stuck in one of the local GDS sorting centres, no movement since 28 FEB and today is the last day to deliver. To inform the buyer I click contact on the order details page but the only active option is COURTESY REFUND ?! Their phone number does not have WhatsApp so how am I supposed to inform my customer of the situation? What if an A-Z claim is opened?

btw, when I sent them tracking inquiry mails, Spring GDS (the carrier company in Canada) sends automated replies back to me to contact the seller as if I was the buyer

Contact the buyer by clicking the "Other" option.

Ps: Are you certain it hasn't been delivered, and perhaps just not scanned? Happens with Canada Post...

Perhaps you should contact the carrier to see what the causes of the delay is, and the ETA. You will need these info to pass on to your buyer, instead of simply notifying him/her that it would be late.

If the buyer doesn't mind the late delivery as much, s/he will certainly want to know the (new) ETA. You might just avoid the A-Z, if you provide accurate info.
