Amazon is making it imposisible to permanetly close my account.

I've been trying to close my account for over a year. First, I couldn't close it because it was inactive. Then I did everything to get it reactivated again and still couldn't close it because there was a balance that was owed to me, a small balance, but it never releases for some reason. All account info is fine, no problems. I contacted 2 reps over chat and on the phone and was told it was going to transferred to a 'specialist'. Haven't heard anything in 3 months and I just got charged another professional monthly fee when my account was switched to an Individual account. And was assured by the rep I spoke with that I would not be charged another fee while they looked into this , because I got charged before while on a individual account and they are looking into refunding that. I have so many cases open since Nov 2023...and absolutely nothing has been resolved !! Not one thing. I don't owe Amazon anything, they actually owe me $27, I don't even want it. I just want my account CLOSED . I have zero inventory. My account has been dormant for several months. Nobody is doing anything. They are just charging my credit card for a pro fee whenever they feel like, which I don't want and don't have since I switched to individual account. This is very very frustrating.
