This is a meltable product and cannot currently be fulfilled through FBA

This is a meltable product and cannot currently be fulfilled through FBA. This is what Amazon told me when I was trying to create a shipment. How do I send this product? It says it will not be accepted this way until October. Will I not be able to sell until October? If I do not send it as FBA, I cannot make a profit. I cannot list this product on FBM.

You have to wait until summer heat is over before you can send your meltable product in.

Unless you do FBM, you will not be able to sell at FBA until October. It's too hot to ship meltables right now this summer.

Thank you for reaching out regarding your meltable product concern. I understand your frustration with the FBA restrictions. As mentioned by peer sellers, Amazon implements seasonal restrictions for meltable inventory, typically between May and October, due to warm weather conditions that could affect product quality.

Here are your current options:

  1. Wait until October when the meltable inventory restriction is lifted to send your products through FBA
  2. Consider using climate-controlled third-party logistics (3PL) services temporarily
  3. Explore using Amazon's Partner Carrier Program, which may offer temperature-controlled shipping solutions.

If you'd like to proceed with FBA before October, you would need to:

  • Ensure your product meets Amazon's temperature-sensitive items requirements
  • Contact Seller Support to request a special exemption (though these are rarely granted)
  • Provide documentation showing your packaging meets temperature-control standards

Please note that attempting to send meltable items during the restricted period may result in your shipment being rejected at the fulfillment center.

If you need assistance, don’t hesitate to reach out to our support channel.

Regards,

JiAlex
