Pacifiers and pacifier clips

If you list products on our store, you must comply with all federal, provincial, territorial, and local laws and our policies applicable to those products and product listings, including this policy.

Pacifiers and pacifier clips covered by this policy

A pacifier is an article that consists of a nipple that is intended for an infant or toddler to suck upon, but is not designed to assist an infant or toddler in obtaining fluids. A pacifier usually includes a guard or shield and a handle or ring.

  • Guard or shield means the structure that is located at the base of the nipple and prevents the pacifier from being completely drawn into the child's mouth.
  • Handle or ring means the structure that is usually located adjacent to the guard or shield and is used for holding or grasping the pacifier.

Pacifier holders and clips

A pacifier holder, also known as pacifier clip, is an article made of textiles or beads that is used to attach a pacifier to an infant or toddler’s clothing for the purposes of preventing the pacifier from falling onto the ground.
