The FBA Donations program makes it possible for you to automatically donate your unwanted inventory to selected charities in Canada.
FBA Donations is currently in a pilot phase. Participation is limited and by invitation only. Sellers who participate will have access to the new features of FBA Donations, and can provide feedback to help us refine the program.
You are enrolled in FBA Donations by invitation only. To verify your enrolment status, go to the Settings navigation menu and select Fulfilment by Amazon, then scroll down to FBA Donations. If you are not part of the pilot program, you won’t see the FBA Donations section in your Settings.
When you request disposal of eligible overstock, returned, or other unwanted FBA inventory in Canada fulfilment centres, we make it available to selected Canadian charities.

The FBA Donations program is only available for inventory stored in Canada fulfilment centres.
While you’re enrolled in the program, we’ll evaluate all of your eligible product disposals for donation. An ASIN’s eligibility for donation is subject to legal, safety, and regulatory guidelines, in addition to charity location, interest, and need.
If a product is not eligible for donation, we will dispose of it in accordance with relevant regulations and safety guidelines.

We are partnering with select Canadian charities to distribute donated FBA inventory. The charities work with a diverse network of charities in Canada that support people in need.
Each program partner agrees to not sell, trade, or barter donated goods, and is a registered charity according to the Canada Revenue Service.
We cannot provide tax advice to sellers who take part in FBA Donations. Contact your tax adviser to discuss the program and your tax reporting obligations.
You can opt out by disabling FBA Donations program in your FBA settings. Disposals made after you opt out will no longer be eligible for donations.
Receipts for donated inventory will be available in your Donation receipts page, for donations that were made in the previous month. Donation receipts will be generated based on your business information in Seller Central. Make sure your business information is accurate by verifying or updating it on the Business address page.
