The Canadian Electrical Code (CSA C22.1) requires that all electrical mains powered products be approved by a recognized Certification Body and display a valid Certification Mark. Certification Bodies are accredited by the Standards Council of Canada (SCC), and manufacturers may obtain a Certification Mark from any SCC-accredited Certification Body.
A list of SCC-accredited Certification Bodies is available here. Amazon may request evidence of certification at any time to confirm compliance.
