Update on Amazon Canada fulfilment centre operations: Frequently asked questions

Amazon Canada fulfilment centres in the Peel region of Ontario (YYZ1, YYZ3, YYZ4, YYZ7) are operating at reduced capacity as we follow legal orders issued by the local health authority and take measures to protect the health and safety of our employees.

Can customers still place orders for my products on Amazon.ca?

Yes, if your product inventory is located within our network. You can also sell by fulfilling your own orders, or you can use Remote Fulfilment with FBA if you have US FBA inventory.

I’ve already created shipments for one or more of these Canada fulfilment centres (YYZ1, YYZ3, YYZ4, YYZ7). Can I send them?

Yes, you can continue to ship your products to all fulfilment centres in our network as permitted by your inventory limits. You can also sell by fulfilling your own orders, or you can use Remote Fulfilment with FBA if you have US FBA inventory.

Can I create a removal order for my inventory that is in YYZ1, YYZ3, YYZ4 or YYZ7?

Yes, you can continue to create removal orders for inventory that is in YYZ1, YYZ3, YYZ4 or YYZ7, but processing will be delayed. Inventory in other fulfilment centres is not affected.

Are YYZ1, YYZ3, YYZ4 or YYZ7 delaying shipment delivery appointments?

During the next month, there may be some shipment delivery appointment delays at YYZ1, YYZ3, YYZ4 or YYZ7 as we follow legal orders issued by the Peel region local health authority and take measures to protect the health and safety of our employees. We are doing everything possible to minimize disruption to sellers. Note that fulfilment centres outside of the Peel region continue to operate as usual.
