In July 2020, we announced ASIN-level quantity limits for products stored in our fulfilment centres to ensure that there was enough space for all FBA sellers. To determine how much you can send in, go to Restock Inventory and check the Days of supply column. Click on the units above the colour bar to open a pop-up window that includes your Maximum shipment quantity.
Your maximum shipment quantity equals the maximum inventory level allowed, minus utilization. To view the utilization number for a product, go to Restock Inventory and click the colour bar in the Days of supply column. A pop-up window will appear.
Utilization counts against your maximum inventory level and helps determine your maximum shipment quantity. Utilization accounts for your current inventory, incoming shipments, inventory pending removals, and your reserved inventory. This number may or may not match your inventory supply at Amazon.
We provide an initial quantity limit for all products in order to build your sales history. Your quantity limit will be updated as you build a sales history for your products, which can take up to four weeks. You can check the quantity limits for products that are new or don’t have recent sales on Restock Inventory and Restock report.
We update ASIN-level quantity limits regularly based on changes in your historical sales and forecasted sales.
