Products listed in Amazon.ca stores must comply with all applicable Canadian federal and provincial packaging and labelling requirements. If you list a non-compliant product for sale, the product may be de-listed and/or your selling account may be deactivated.
The Consumer Packaging and Labelling Act and its Regulations identify basic requirements for the packaging and labelling of most non-food products that are sold to, used by or purchased by a customer without being re-packaged. Other laws impose additional or different requirements on certain product types, including but not limited to food, medical devices, and pesticides. Many laws require specific information to be shown in both English and French on a product’s packaging and labelling
You may use the checklist below to assist you in following the labelling requirements for certain products. This is a guide only. Please review the resources provided on this help page for further information.
