By participating in FBA, your products are offered to customers with Expedited Shipping speeds. Your products may be stored in our YUL2 fulfilment centre in Quebec to improve availability and delivery to customers, particularly those located in the eastern parts of Canada.
In compliance with Quebec provincial tax law, FBA services performed in Quebec may be subject to both the federal Goods and Services Tax (GST) and Quebec Sales Tax (QST).
Amazon ensures that it collects and pays all required tax on services sold to our sellers. The taxability of a fee and the percentage of tax collected will vary based on the following:
Federal and provincial sales tax paid on your seller fees will be shown on each order transaction detail page and in the monthly seller fee invoice issued to your tax document library during the first 10 days of each month.
For more information, go to FBA features, services and fees.
You can add or manage your QST and other tax registration numbers by going to VAT/GST registration numbers.
Fulfilment services are performed based on your participation in the FBA program and any applicable taxes will be collected where required.
To manage your FBA settings and minimize FBA service fees by prepping your items before sending to a fulfilment centre, go to your Fulfilment by Amazon settings.
To learn more about prepping your products, go to Packaging and prep requirements.
