Infant and cradle swings covered by this policy

Infant swings

An infant swing is a swing that enables an infant in a seated position to swing or glide. Infant swings are intended for use with infants from birth until an infant attempts to climb out of the swing (approximately nine months).

Cradle swings

A cradle swing is a swing that is intended for use by an infant to sleep while swinging or gliding. Cradle swings are intended for use with infants from birth until the infant begins to push up on hands and knees (approximately five months). Cradle swings must meet the safety standard for cribs, cradles, and bassinets. For more information, go to our policy on cribs, cradles, and bassinets.
