For merchants who are submitting tab-delimited shipping
confirmation or adjustment files, this error occurs when the order-id
value is invalid. This value should be the order-id value provided in
your orders report. Common reasons why this value may be invalid
include the following:
You omitted the two hyphens in the original order-id value.
You mistakenly entered the wrong order-id value
for the purchased item.
Microsoft Excel
reformatted your order-id value when you entered it in the shipping
confirmation or adjustments template.
To prevent Microsoft Excel from reformatting your order-id
value:
Select the order-id column in your template.
Click the Format
menu.
Choose Cells... .
In the Format Cells
box, click the Numbers tab.
In the Category list,
choose Text.
Click
OK.
Enter your
order-id in the appropriate cell.
For merchants who are posting XML feeds, this error occurs
when the AmazonOrderID value in your order acknowledgement feed, order
adjustments feed or order fulfillment feed is invalid. This value
should be the AmazonOrderID value provided in your order report. Common
reasons why this value may be invalid include the following:
You omitted the two hyphens in the original AmazonOrderID
value.
You mistakenly entered the wrong
AmazonOrderID value for the purchased item.
You
mistakenly supplied your internal MerchantOrderID value in place of the
AmazonOrderID value.
To resolve this error, please resubmit your data with a valid,
properly formatted AmazonOrderID or order-id value.
