The requested refund amount for the item price is too high. For help on how to proceed, see http://sellercentral.amazon.ca/gp/help/25161
This error occurs when the refund amount you are requesting for a product's item-price or Principal exceeds the amount that can be refunded. The item-price or Principal is the amount the customer paid for a product before shipping. Common reasons why your requested refund might be too high include the following:
For example, if a customer pays CDN$ 20.00 for a product (not including shipping), you can refund up to CDN$ 20.00 toward the item-price or Principal. If you refund CDN$ 15.00 of the item-price or Principal, the customer's item-price or Principal balance is CDN$ 5.00. Any future refunds for item-price or Principal could not exceed that CDN$ 5.00 balance.
To view the current balance for any component in an order, you can search for the order using the Search Orders feature.
To resolve this error, please resubmit your data with a item-price-adj or Principal amount that is less than or equal to the customer's current balance.
