Add permissions for inventory planning

The Inventory Planning tools are accessible from the Inventory drop-down menu on the Seller Central home page. The tools are only visible to account users with permissions to take action on FBA inventory. If you do not have permissions, the primary account holder for your account (not Amazon) can grant them to you. The primary account holder is the person who initially registered with Amazon.

Primary account holders can grant permission for users from the User permissions page.

  1. Go to the Settings drop-down menu and select User permissions.
  2. On the User permissions page, you can add a user or select an existing user and click Edit to modify their permissions.
  3. Scroll down to the Inventory section and locate Inventory planning settings.

There are two levels of Inventory planning settings permissions:

None These users do not have access to inventory planning.
View and Edit These users can create and modify inventory planning.

CAUTION: Be careful to grant View and Edit permissions only to users that are authorized to act on FBA inventory or change inventory settings.
