A fidget spinner has two or more prongs with a bearing in its center circular pad. It can be made from a variety of materials including plastic, brass, stainless steel, titanium, and copper. The prongs may also be weighted with the same type of bearing. The device is often held between two fingers on the center pad, and spins around the center bearing.

Throwing star fidget spinner

A “throwing star” fidget spinner is a type of fidget spinner that looks like a “throwing star” weapon, regardless of its material. At this time, throwing star fidget spinners are not allowed for sale in the Amazon marketplace.

Amazon may request fidget spinner safety documentation at any time to confirm compliance.

Who should submit documents?

If you are selling fidget spinners, you may be asked to provide documents to confirm the safety of your products. Amazon requires documentation that indicates testing compliance with standards or regulations for each product you are applying to sell.

How do I request approval to sell Fidget Spinners?

Amazon’s policies require that fidget spinners sold through the Amazon website meet specified certification standards. If you are contacted by Amazon, please submit the following information to child-safety@amazon.com:

1. Company name
2. Seller/Vendor ID
3. Email Address
4. Phone Number
5. A list of ASINs you are applying to sell
6. Product manuals for all of the fidget spinner ASINs you are applying to sell
7. Product images. Images must include all relevant:
   • Safety information
   • Compliance marking
   • Product hazard warnings
