Meltable FBA inventory

Before listing products for Fulfilment by Amazon, it's important to know what is suitable for our fulfilment process and what is unsuitable. Be sure to review the other sections below for additional product requirements and restrictions:

Important: Failure to comply with FBA product preparation requirements, safety requirements, and product restrictions may result in the refusal of inventory at the Amazon fulfilment centre, disposal or return of inventory, blocking of future shipments to the fulfilment centre, or charging for preparation or for noncompliance at the fulfilment centre.

Meltable inventory requirements

FBA accepts products that are subject to melting between October 1 and April 30 of each calendar year. Any meltable inventory in our fulfilment centres after April 30 is marked as unfulfillable and disposed of. Meltable inventory that arrives at fulfilment centres between May 1 and September 30 is marked as unfulfillable or disposed of.

Products requiring refrigeration, air conditioning, or freezing are prohibited. Perishable products, including but not limited to, fresh meats, fruits, or vegetables, are prohibited. Some supplements (probiotics, for example) may also be restricted.

Products in fulfilment centres must be able to withstand a minimum temperature of 10 degrees Celsius and a maximum temperature of 30 degrees Celsius for the duration of the product shelf life without adversely affecting product quality.

Box markings must not display storage temperature requirements unless those requirements are explicitly stated as from 10 to 30 degrees Celsius.
