Referral fee discounts are limited-time offers designed to help you list popular products at competitive prices with convenient shipping to Amazon customers. You can find available fee discount opportunities on the Fee discounts page, Pricing Dashboard, Manage Inventory, and through Selling Coach.
Amazon currently offers three types of referral fee discounts:
Some products may be eligible for a referral fee discount when sold at or below a discount price threshold. Any eligible product you sell at a total sales price at or below the discount price threshold will receive the fee discount listed for that product until the fee discount ends. The total sales price is the total amount paid by the buyer, including the item price and any shipping or gift wrap charges.
Occasionally, we might offer limited-time referral fee discounts on sales of products that are popular with our customers, or on new products that you add in popular brands or categories. These discounts have no pricing limitations, and every sale of an eligible product will receive a fee discount until the discount ends.
You might also be eligible for limited-time referral fee discounts on sales of products that you offer through FBA and Seller Fulfilled Prime (where available). These discounts have no pricing limitations, and every sale of an eligible product will receive a fee discount until the discount ends.
The duration of each fee discount varies. Find the end dates in the Referral fee discount column of each table of available fee discount opportunities on the Fee discounts page.
Amazon applies referral fee discounts at the time an order is placed for any eligible products sold while the discount is active. Referral fee discounts will show up as a Discount on the referral fee line item in your Transaction Details. Fee discounts are limited-time only, and after the specified end date, standard referral fees will apply. Amazon may change or cancel any fee discount at any time. Each fee discount opportunity listed on the Fee discounts page, Pricing Dashboard, and Selling Coach includes a Skip action that hides the listing from these locations for seven days.
No. You would need to update your price again for a price change to take effect. Standard referral fees will apply after the discount ends.
Estimated net proceeds are the difference between your total sales price and the estimated fees you would pay if you sold a product at this price. To see your estimated net proceeds:
New listings are products for which you have not had an active listing in the last 60 calendar days. Only products that were marked Inactive in Manage Inventory or that you have not had in your inventory in the last 60 calendar days are considered new listings.
Offers tells you how many sellers currently offer a particular product on Amazon. Clicking the Offers number will open a new window, showing you all the sellers and their prices.
