Canada Tax Registration Number

Amazon requires sellers to provide a valid GST/HST (federal) registration number to enable Amazon's tax calculation services. Sellers must also provide a valid PST (provincial) registration number if also enabling provincial calculation for the Provinces of British Columbia, Manitoba and Saskatchewan. A valid QST (Québec) registration number is required for Province of Québec. For information on how to provide Amazon with your tax registration numbers, review Tax Calculation Services.

Note: Goods and Services Tax (GST/HST) election is required prior to selecting provincial tax. Providences without a PST registration number field cannot be enabled as they are either HST or do not have a PST.

Contact your tax advisor and/or tax authority to find out how to obtain a registration number.
