Inventory Amazon Fulfils

The Inventory Amazon Fulfils page within Seller Central provides a wealth of information that can assist you in managing your inventory. In order to review the contents of this page, we will break it out into three sections:

When you click the "Advanced Search" tab, your search options expand to include Filter Options as shown in the image below:

The Filter Options fields correspond with the results columns as indicated below:

  • Search by Title, Merchant SKU, ASIN, or FNSKU. Enter complete or partial text or number.
  • Search by Quantity in Warehouse. The default "All Items" will ignore these columns when searching
  • Search by Price. Enter minimum price (greater than or equal to), maximum price (less than or equal to) or both (between) to locate a range of prices.
  • Search by Condition: Select the condition of the items you would like to find. You can select general categories (for example "All New" or "All Used") or specific categories (for example "New - With Warranty" or "Used - Acceptable") to narrow your search 

When you have entered your search criteria, click the "Search" button. You can narrow your search by using multiple criteria or broaden your search by using fewer criteria.

Inventory Details

The inventory details provide a list of items in inventory and details including

  • Merchant SKU
  • Title
  • Condition
  • Price
  • Inbound Quantity
  • Fulfillable Quantity
  • Unfulfillable Quantity
  • Reserved Quantity
  • Unit Volume

Apply to Selected

The following describes your options for filtering or applying actions to your inventory list.

  1. Select Box: Use the Select Box in conjunction with the Apply to Selected pull-down menu to select one or more items for the following actions:
    • Send/Replenish Inventory Initiate a new shipment with the items you identified using the Select Box.
    • Move to ‘Fulfilled by Merchant’ Remove the selected items from the Inventory Amazon Fulfils page and fulfil orders for these items yourself.
    • Create Fulfilment Order Submit a request to have Amazon fulfil an order on behalf of your customer.
  2. Merchant SKU: The listing identifier provided for the merchant (Pro Merchants can create their own Merchant SKUs). Clicking on the Merchant SKU will open the Item Details page. There you can find additional information about your inventory ( Show me!)
  3. Title: The name of the product stored in Amazon.ca's catalogue.
  4. Condition: The physical condition of your listing for your inventory item.
  5. Price: The listing's current price.
  6. Inbound: The quantity of all inbound shipments that has not been received by Amazon.
  7. Fulfillable: The quantity in the Amazon fulfilment network that can be picked, packed, and shipped.
  8. Unfulfillable: The quantity in the Amazon fulfilment network that is damaged or otherwise unfit for sale.
  9. Reserved: The quantity in the Amazon fulfilment network that is currently being picked, packed, and shipped or is sidelined for measurement, sampling, or other internal process.
  10. Unit Volume: The volume of one Unit measured in cubic centimetres. The daily average of all combined Unit volume is used to calculate the cost of storage on a monthly basis.

Sort by Field: By clicking on the heading of any column, you can sort the data by that field. A triangle indicates the field that the data is currently sorting on. If the triangle is pointing up, it is sorted in ascending order. If it is pointing down, it is sorted in descending order.

 

The Item Details provide additional information about specific items in your inventory including the following:

  • Title
  • Condition
  • Price
  • Unit Volume
  • Package Dimensions
  • Merchant SKU
  • ASIN/IAID
  • FNSKU

In addition, you have access to four tabs at the bottom of the screen:

  1. Summary
  2. Inbound
  3. Outbound
  4. Events

  Summary

The Summary tab displays the following information:

  • Inbound: The quantity of all inbound shipments that has not been received by Amazon.
  • Fulfillable: The quantity within the Amazon fulfilment network that can be picked, packed, and shipped.
  • Unfulfillable: The quantity within the Amazon fulfilment network that is damaged or otherwise unfit for sale.
  • Reserved: The quantity within the Amazon fulfilment network that is currently being picked, packed, and shipped or is sidelined for measurement, sampling, or other internal processes.
  • MFN Listing: "Yes" indicates that the item is listed for fulfilment by merchant.
  • AFN Listing: "Yes" indicates that the item is listed for Fulfilment by Amazon.

  Inbound

The Inbound tab provides details on the inventory of a specific item.

  • Inbound Working Qty: The inventory quantity in an inbound shipment that a merchant has notified Amazon about.
  • Inbound Shipped Qty: The inventory quantity in an inbound shipment that a merchant has notified Amazon about and provided a tracking number.
  • Inbound Receiving Qty: The number of items that have arrived at the fulfilment centre for processing.
  • Inbound Problem Qty: The number of items that have been received but cannot be processed (damaged, mislabelled, or other).
  • Total Inbound Qty: The total number of your inbound units.

You can also review the history of shipments for the selected item by clicking on the Shipment ID.

  Outbound

The Outbound tab displays inventory that is being shipped.

  • Date: The date on which the shipment occurred.
  • Type: The type of shipment
  • ID: The unique number assigned to the event. Click the number to view the details of the event.
  • Qty: The quantity of units shipped.
  • Shipping Charge: The amount that is being charged to the recipient for the shipment.

  Events

The Events tab displays the following information:

  • Date: The date on which the event occurred.
  • Type: The type of event. Event types include the following:
    • Receipt (inbound shipments received at our fulfilment centre)
    • Outbound Shipment (customer orders)
    • Adjustment
  • ID: The unique number assigned to the event. Click the number to view the details of the event.
  • Qty: The quantity of units involved in the event.
  1. From the Inventory Amazon Fulfils page, click the price box for the listing price you would like to edit.
  2. Enter the new price for your listing.
  3. Click the "Submit Prices" button above the listing column headers.

A message indicates whether your prices were updated successfully or not. If you entered a negative number or a non-numeric value, you will receive an error. Correct the price, and submit again.

Edit multiple listing prices

Edit each price, then click the "Submit Prices" button when you are done. A message tells you how many of the prices were successfully updated.

Edit prices across pages

If you have many listings that span multiple pages, you can edit prices across pages and click the "Submit Prices" button when you are done. A message will tell you how many of the prices were successfully updated.

Reset Prices

If while editing prices you decide you want to revert to the original price, click the "Reset Prices" button. If you have already clicked the "Submit Prices" button, you won't be able to use the "Reset Prices" button.

Overview

The Inventory Amazon Fulfils page within Seller Central provides a wealth of information that can assist you in managing your inventory. Content is organized into task-oriented sections:

 

  Review inventory details

  • Inventory and listing information is displayed as a list.
  • Most columns are sortable—click a heading to sort the data by that field. A triangle indicates the field that the data is currently sorting by. If the triangle is pointing up, it is sorted in ascending order. If it is pointing down, it is sorted in descending order.
  • You can expand the list to include archived items by checking the "Include Archived Items" check box.
  • You can expand the level of detail to include ASIN and FNSKU information by checking the "Show ASIN/FNSKU" check box.
  • Use the page selectors on the right to navigate between different pages if you have more inventory than fits on a single page.

The following information is available:

Merchant SKU

Stock Keeping Units (SKUs) are unique blocks of letters or numbers that identify your products. Clicking the Merchant SKU will open the Item Details page. There you can find additional information about your inventory.

Title

The title of your product.

Condition

The condition of your product.

Price

Your current selling price.

Inbound Quantity

The number of Units you have for a SKU in all inbound shipments that have not been received by Amazon.

Fulfillable Quantity

The number of Units you have for a SKU in Amazon fulfilment centres that can be picked, packed, and shipped.

Unsellable Quantity

The number of Units you have for a SKU in Amazon fulfilment centres that is in unsellable condition.

Reserved Quantity

The number of Units you have for a SKU in Amazon fulfilment centres that are currently being picked, packed, and shipped or are sidelined for measurement, sampling, or other internal processes.

Unit Volume

The volume of one Unit. The daily average of all combined Unit Volume is used to calculate the cost of storage of storage on a monthly basis.

The Item Details provide additional information about specific items in your inventory including the following:

  • Title
  • Condition
  • Price
  • Unit Volume
  • Package Dimensions
  • Merchant SKU
  • ASIN/IAID
  • FNSKU

ID The unique number assigned to the event. Click the number to view the details of the event.
Qty The quantity of Units involved in the event.


  Search for listings

All active listings in your inventory are displayed by default. You can narrow the view to only the listings matching specific criteria using the filter options near the top of the page. Use the selector to set the type of search, enter your search criteria, and click the "Search" button.

  Text Search Instructions Guidelines Examples
Title Enter one or more words from the title in any order.
  • Not case sensitive.
  • Most variations of the same root word can be used interchangeably.
  • Apostrophes must be included to find a match.
  • If any of the words match a title, the title will appear in the search results.
  • "Colour," "coloured," and "colouring" would all find "Rose Coloured Glasses."
  • "Glasses rose" would find "Rose Coloured Glasses"
  • "Rose" would not find "Rose's Coloured Glasses."
  • "Kitchen glasses" would find "Rose Coloured Glasses."
ASIN/FNSKU/Merchant SKU Enter one or more characters starting at the beginning of the identifier.
  • This search is case sensitive
  • DW would find "DW123" and "DW235"
  • DW would not find "dw123" or "123DW"

Note: For Text Search, results will be returned only for the field (title or ASIN/FNSKU/Merchant SKU) with the most matches. Use the "Search instead by" links below the search box to search again with a different field.


Text Search: enter complete or partial text or numbers in the search box. You can search on one of four criteria:

  • Title search (default)
  • ASIN
  • FNSKU
  • Merchant SKU

Quantity in Warehouse: Use the selector to specify listings with the quantity criteria you want to see:

  • All Items
  • Items with Fulfillable Inventory
  • Items with No Fulfillable Inventory
  • Items with Unfulfillable Inventory

Error status: Use the selector to specify items with the error criteria you want to see:

  • All Items
  • Items with Errors
  • Items without Errors

Items Priced-USD: Use the selector to specify items matching the price criteria you want to see. Enter minimum price (greater than or equal to), maximum price (less than or equal to), or both to locate a range of prices.

  Edit prices

You can change prices by simply entering and submitting updates:

  • Enter a new value in the Price box for the product you want to change
  • Click the "Submit Prices" button.

A message indicates whether your prices were updated successfully or not. If you entered a negative number or a non-numeric value, you will receive an error. If this happens, correct the price and submit again.

Edit multiple listing prices

Edit the price of each product you want to change and click the "Submit Prices" button when you are done. A message will tell you how many of the prices were successfully updated.

Edit prices across pages

If you have many listings that span multiple pages, you can edit prices across pages and click the "Submit Prices" button when you are done. A message will tell you how many of the prices were successfully updated.

Reset Prices

If while editing prices you decide you want to revert to the original price, click the "Reset Prices" button. If you have already clicked the "Submit Prices" button, you will only be able to use the "Reset Prices" button to revert back from any changes you’ve made since clicking the "Submit Prices" button.
