The Consumer Packaging and Labelling Act and its Regulations identify basic requirements for the packaging and labelling of most non-food products that are sold to, used by or purchased by a customer without being re-packaged. Other laws impose additional or different requirements on certain product types, including but not limited to food, medical devices, and pesticides. Many laws require specific information to be shown in both English and French on a product’s packaging and labelling
